SINGER/SONGWRITER BRENDA ZITZMAN SETS OUT ON

MULTI-CITY CHRISTMAS TOUR

Holiday Season Finale Features Rare Hometown Concert With Brother in New Ulm, MN

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 10, 2012) – Singer/songwriter Brenda Zitzman has planned a series of concerts to make the season merry and bright for fans as the energetic performer is set to perform acoustic concerts of Christmas favorites throughout Middle Tennessee and in her home state of Minnesota.

Zitzman’s Middle Tennessee concerts include shows at Mercy Ministries, Ronald McDonald House, Sycamores Terrace Retirement Community and Fifty Forward in Donelson. She heads north later in the month, with shows set for Fairfax Community Home and Countryview Estates in Fairfax, Minn., and Ridgeway on 23rd in New Ulm, Minn. Zitzman will be joined by her brother, Jon, for a rare Christmas performance on December 22 at the New Ulm Event Center. Jon Zitzman, who currently lives in Los Angeles, will be joining his sister on stage in their hometown for the first time in seven years.

“I love Christmas ! I already know the best gift for me this year will be sharing my love for this season with others through my music,” says Brenda Zitzman.

In addition to sharing Christmas music with others making Zitzman’s Christmas list, the musician has another heartfelt Christmas wish.

“We’ve worked hard to plan a spectacular holiday season with the many concerts,” she says. “However, the one thing that would push it over the top would be the return of my beloved Taylor acoustic guitar, which was stolen a few weeks ago in Nashville. Dear Santa, that definitely is on my list.”

About Brenda Zitzman:
If there’s one – only one – thing you should know about Brenda Zitzman, it’s this: she’s a giver. Doesn’t matter if the person you know as a world-wide performer is onstage singing harmonies and playing guitar or if the person you know as a Belmont University grad who calls Nashville, Tenn., home is running alongside elementary-aged girls as a volunteer 5K coach, it’s all the same: she’s giving it her all.
Zitzman’s commitment to playing all out goes straight back to her childhood, growing up on the family farm in New Ulm, Minn. Working alongside her parents and two brothers, Zitzman learned a strong work ethic and the truth about commitment: you give it all you’ve got.She brought that foundation with her when she moved south to attend Nashville’s Belmont University, where she graduated from the school’s prestigious music program and put what she learned into action, first with a band named Wildflower (which later became Side Saddle) and most recently with internationally known country act Mustang Sally.

After ten years of non-stop touring, Zitzman has decided to move on to new adventures. Her fans will be thrilled to learn of the talented singer’s latest project: Box 43 Collection. Box 43 Collection is a series of youtube videos featuring Zitzman singing songs that influenced her growing up. “Crazy Arms,” the legendary Ray Price tune, kicks off the series. Zitzman considers the youtube videos as just one more way to give to her fans.
